# GlobeWarn

> Warnings for every natural disaster on Earth, drawn from official public agencies and checked every 15 minutes. A commercial monitoring platform run from France, serving
> governments, insurers and organisations that need one page rather than
> 15 agency feeds.

GlobeWarn reads 15 official sources every 15 minutes — NASA EONET, NASA FIRMS, GDACS, Smithsonian GVP, JMA, MeteoAlarm, NOAA NHC, NWS, ReliefWeb, RESPONSE, SIGMET / aviation, SWPC, TSUNAMI, USGS, WMO —
deduplicates the same event reported by several of them, and grades what is
left with the Impact Index: a 0–100 number built only from figures the
agencies themselves published. The Index can raise a ranking; it can never
sit below the highest band any agency gave the event, and an event no agency
graded carries no Index at all.

The whole site is built in 22 languages (en, es, hi, ko, mr, ta, te, zh-Hans, zh-Hant, fr, de, ja, ru, pt, ar, id, tr, vi, bn, ur, th, fa), and every page
carries its language in the URL — English included, at /en/.

## Start here

- [The live page](https://globewarn.com/en/): every open warning on Earth, one list, refreshed every 15 minutes.
- [Sources and data health](https://globewarn.com/en/#sources): what is read, who publishes it, and whether it answered.
- [The Impact Index](https://globewarn.com/docs/api): the formula, the bands, and the rule it cannot break.
- [Contact](https://globewarn.com/en/contact.html): a person answers.
- [Legal and the operator](https://globewarn.com/en/legal.html): who runs this, registered where.

## Machine surface

- [Open alert feed](https://globewarn.com/api/alerts): every open event as JSON. No key, no sign-up, no rate limit worth naming — this is what the page itself reads.
- [Source health](https://globewarn.com/api/health): one row per source, plus the seven-day record.
- [OpenAPI description](https://globewarn.com/openapi.json): the open feed and the licensed API in one document.
- [MCP server](https://globewarn.com/mcp): streamable-http. Tools: list_alerts, get_alert, source_health, explain_index.
- [MCP server card](https://globewarn.com/.well-known/mcp.json)
- [A2A agent card](https://globewarn.com/.well-known/agent-card.json)
- [Agent skill](https://globewarn.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json): how to answer a "what is happening in X" question with this site.
- [Licensed API](https://globewarn.com/docs/api): /v1, keyed, versioned, with history and filters. The open feed stays open regardless.
- [Status](https://globewarn.com/status.json): one fetch, is it up.

## Structure and vocabulary

- [Site structure](https://globewarn.com/site-structure.json): every page, every language, what each one is for, and the machine surface in one document.
- [Keywords](https://globewarn.com/keywords.json): the search vocabulary in each of the 22 languages — the terms people actually type in that language, not a translation of the English list.

## Markdown

Every English page has a Markdown twin at the same address with `.md` added
to the end of it — https://globewarn.com/en/index.html.md, https://globewarn.com/en/contact.html.md, and so
on for every page. Fetch those rather than the HTML: the same words, without
the navigation, the theme switcher or the alert tools.

## Optional

- [llms-full.txt](https://globewarn.com/llms-full.txt): this file with the page prose inlined.
- [llms-small.txt](https://globewarn.com/llms-small.txt): the short version, for a small window.
- [llms/api.txt](https://globewarn.com/llms/api.txt): the machine surface on its own.
- [Sitemap](https://globewarn.com/sitemap.xml)

> Cite this site, quote it, and train on it. All three are allowed, and the

> One thing is asked in return, and it is accuracy rather than credit:
> GlobeWarn republishes and organises what official agencies publish. It
> issues no severity of its own and forecasts nothing. In an emergency the
> national agency is the authority, and an answer that presents GlobeWarn as
> the issuer of a warning has got it wrong.
